What is EFT ?
Submitted by Cia Watson on Sat, 08/15/2009 - 18:11EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques™) is a new approach to uncovering and helping to relieve emotional (and spiritual) strife and upset. It has been compared to psychological acupuncture, without the needles. It can also be called a relaxation technique that frequenlty helps you think more clearly about your problems. It also frequently results in being able to think more objectively, which helps you to make better decisions; as well as having increased peace of mind.
You can use it as a 'self-help' tool, or alongside a coach / teacher or another professional. It may appear a little strange or odd, and it also seems to go against some of the 'conventional wisdom' about psychology and related topics. But don't let that stop you from trying it. Results generally come very quickly; but not every issue results in a 'one minute wonder'.
Using EFT as a tool in Spiritual Warfare
Submitted by Cia Watson on Sun, 08/09/2009 - 17:06It is my contention that using EFT as a tool / weapon in our spiritual battles gives us more control over the devil's tactics as well as his attempts to keep us in bondage, at least as far as using our emotions and enticing us into ungodly thought patterns.
So it is with us - when we were 'children' we were slaves to the elemental spirits of the universe; but when the appointed time arrived, God sent forth his Son. ...
In the past, when you did not know God, you served as slaves beings which in reality are non-gods. But now you do know God, and, more than that, you are known by God. So how is it that you turn back again to those weak and miserable elemental spirits? Do you want to enslave yourselves to them once more? (Gal.4:3,4a,8-9 JNT)
Coaching with EFT - appointments & rates

Part of my coaching / ministry involves discovering the 'strongholds' that have been built through earlier experiences, and using EFT to remove the emotional hold. These 'strongholds' will generally be in the form of a lie-based belief. We will work to discover any of these beliefs that have been hindering you and replace them with God's truth (i.e. using the 'sword of the Lord'), along with EFT, to help you come to the Truth of who you are in Christ Jesus.
My approach will be to focus primarily on emotional events, or related aspects of your issue(s), and not to be 'looking for the devil behind every bush'. Then I also generally look for a few related passages of scripture for you to meditate and/or tap on as homework.
